Children’s Sunday School
Sunday School is held at 9:45 a.m. on Sunday mornings, starting in September and going though May. It is offered for ages 4 years through 6th grade.
The Psalty Singers
As part of Sunday school, we offer the children’s singing group the Psalty Singers. This program is provided for children ages 4 through those in the 4th grade. The children meet September through May at 9:45 a.m. and perform every 4 to 6 weeks in church.
Learning to Use My Bible
“Learning To Use My Bible” is a class led by Pastor Jim for 3rd graders. The class meets weekly during the school year. Kids learn the books of the Bible, Bible Stories, communion, baptism, and the Lord's Supper. All 3rd graders are encouraged to attend!
Search For Life
Youth in the 7th and 8th grade study for confirmation and the 8th graders may take vows for membership in the church in May. The group also has fun activities and youth trips.
Jr. High UMY (United Methodist Youth)
All 6th, 7th, & 8th graders are welcome to join us on Wednesday evenings for dinner and youth fellowship. This group meets during the school year and does a variety of activities including retreats, fundraisers, mission projects, and much more.
Sr. High UMY (United Methodist Youth)
All 9th through 12th graders are welcome on Sunday mornings for the Sr. High group which meets during Sunday school hour. Discussions are centered on challenges and opportunities that face youth every day.
Summer Youth Program
Children are invited to attend a Summer Youth Program that runs Mondays through Wednesdays during the months of June and July. Some examples of classes are: Scrap-booking, Junior Cheerleading, Jewelry Making, Sign Language, and more.
Vacation Bible School
CUMC offers a fun-filled week of VBS for children ages 4 through the 4th grade. Come enjoy a week of Bible stories, crafts, music, and much more!
